Hylio designs and offers compact, rotary devices that can be utilized for application of solid materials. You can utilize the Hylio Granular Spreader for a variety of operations such as cover crop seeding and application of pesticide pellets. The AG-110 and AG-116 AgroDrones are both compatible with the 10-liter Granular Spreader. The AG-122 AgroDrone is compatible with the 22-liter Granular Spreader. This RTK base station allows your AgroDrones to operate within centimeter-level accuracy by accessing RTK (Real-Time Kinematic) corrections for GPS positioning. The RTK system includes the RTK module and antenna mounted upon a convenient, collapsible tripod.
While Hylio’s AgroDrones are capable of completely autonomous flight, every Hylio AgroDrone also comes with a handheld controller for optional manual control. You’re able to easily control the AgroDrone using stick inputs for altitude (throttle), heading (yaw), and horizontal travel (pitch and roll). The handheld also has a built-in 5.46 in., 1080p display for FPV (first person view) video streaming. This links with a 1080p camera mounted on the AgroDrone that provides the HD video stream. Hylio’s AgroDrones utilize multi-cell lithium polymer (liPo) batteries for power. These batteries store large amounts of power in relatively small form factors. The LiPo batteries feature rugged cases, ergonomic handles, and LEDs to indicate charge level and cycle life. The AG-110 utilizes one 16A 44.4V LiPo battery at a time for flight. The AG-116 utilizes one 22A 44.4V LiPo battery at a time for flight. The AG-122 utilizes two 16A 44.4V LiPo batteries at a time for flight.
These compact LiPo chargers are capable of charging 12-14 cell LiPo batteries. They can operate on both 110V and 220V power input. They are able to charge faster at the 220V input level. The chargers feature storage, trickle, normal, and fast charge modes for you to utilize when necessary. The chargers will automatically balance and charge the LiPo battery cells, which helps to maximize their lifespan. Each charger has two independent channels which allows each charger to charge two LiPo batteries simultaneously.
This compact GPS tracker allows you to digitally mark and store field boundaries, obstacles, and other points of interest. This connects directly to your ground station device (laptop, tablet, etc.) and provides real-time GPS positioning. Once connected in AgroSol, you can drop flags and obstacle markers for mission planning purposes. The use of the GPS tracker is optional; there are several other methods for creating and planning missions.
