This is a dynamic role where you will engage with both potential and existing customers. With potential customers you will utilize a solutions-oriented sales approach; dialoguing with them to determine their technical needs and then explaining how Hylio’s technology can help them meet those needs. For existing customers, you will assist them in resolving their support inquiries. You are expected to engage with customers by video and phone call, email, text, and more in order to assist them with any question or request that they have regarding Hylio’s products.
You will be expected to become well-versed Hylio’s technology and product line in order to be as effective as possible at your sales and support duties. Most importantly, you should always maintain a patient and positive attitude when interacting with potential and current customers.
In-bound sales: field in-bound potential customers (leads) by phone, email, website chat tool, etc. with the goal of closing sales.
Outbound sales: reach out to leads via LinkedIn, cold-calling, cold-emailing, etc.
Securing sales by implementing a solutions-oriented sales approach; you will be expected to carefully listen to the lead’s context in order to generate a strong understanding of their technical needs and wants. The key to successful sales of Hylio products is to accurately match the correct Hylio product/technology with the corresponding problem that it is meant to solve.
Supporting existing Hylio customers and dealers with administrative or technical issues.
Diligent and detailed tracking of sales and support efforts in digital systems.
Frequent status reports on sales efforts; changing strategy rapidly in order to improve sales based on lessons learned.
Interacting with CRMs, inventory systems, Microsoft Office suite, Google Suite, and other common admin. programs to facilitate day-to-day business activities.
Creating quotations and invoices for customers using Hylio’s preferred systems (Quickbooks, Fishbowl).
Positive attitude and excellent people skills
Self-motivated with a willingness to learn quickly on the job
Computer literacy; use of Microsoft office suite, CRMs, Google Suite, Gmail, and other office admin programs will be required
Preferred: past experience in technical sales and/or support
Preferred: technical or agricultural background
No higher education required
Job Type: Full-time; in-person or remote, in-person preferred
Pay: TBD, includes both hourly and sales commission
