HYLIO IS BLUE LISTED

As of April 2026, following thorough vetting by US Government-approved security assessors, several of Hylio's products were officially placed on the US Government Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Blue UAS Cleared List. This currently includes Hylio's ARES HYL-150 UAS, along with the Hylio GroundLink ground station device and Hylio's ground control software, AgroSol GCS.

This achievement formally affirms Hylio's commitment to the high standards set by the US Dept. of War for protecting America's national security interests through adherence to strict country-of-origin and cybersecurity requirements. It also significantly streamlines the process by which government and government-affiliated entities can purchase our equipment: as intended by the Blue List program, government purchases of our certified equipment should require little to no additional compliance screening.

Other Hylio HYL-series products (ATLAS HYL-300, PEGASUS HYL-30, and PHOTON HYL-10) already use the same Blue Listed GroundLink ground station and AgroSol GCS software, so those components do not require recertification. Because these drones also share nearly identical critical component architecture with the approved ARES HYL-150, we expect their certification to proceed relatively quickly, with all Hylio models cleared by the end of 2026.

HYLIO IS NDAA COMPLIANT

Hylio, Inc. is a U.S.-based company that designs, manufactures, and supplies Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) to a wide range of industries. All Hylio products are fully NDAA compliant, meaning they do not use any covered telecommunications equipment or services, nor any systems that rely on them. Some Hylio products are Blue Listed as well; the remaining products are in the Blue List certification process and are expected to be certified by the end of 2026.

For clarity, no critical components in Hylio's UAS are manufactured in the People's Republic of China (PRC), nor are they produced by any entity owned or controlled by the PRC. Consequently, Hylio UAS may be acquired, operated, and otherwise accessed by U.S. Government entities and related parties in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Section 889 (FY2019 NDAA), Section 848 (FY2020 NDAA), Section 817 (FY2023 NDAA), and the American Security Drone Act (FY2024 NDAA), as well as any subsequent revisions to these regulations.

Navigating Federal UAS Regulations

Under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), U.S. Government entities and organizations that receive U.S. Government contracts or funding must comply with Section 889 of the FY2019 NDAA, Section 848 of the FY2020 NDAA, Section 817 of the FY2023 NDAA, and the American Security Drone Act (FY2024 NDAA), along with any subsequent revisions to these regulations, before they acquire, contract for, operate, or otherwise access UAS or UAS services. Please note that this list of pertinent regulations is subject to change, as the U.S. Government continually updates its approach to UAS regulation.

The NDAA Compliance Component Specification Sheet linked below provides a detailed list of all Hylio critical components, including their make, model, and country of origin. For further assurance, Hylio's critical components are also listed under the Blue UAS Framework, which catalogs NDAA-compliant components for use in cleared systems. A supplementary document from e-con Systems, the manufacturer of Hylio's onboard cameras, is provided below to validate those components' NDAA compliance.

Hylio is Blue listed, NDAA compliant, and trusted by multiple U.S. federal agencies, U.S. government contractors, and federally funded universities.
